opportunities that are addressing ignored customer niches in areas where we have unique insights.
Tons of value and opportunities have been lost when businesses are built around
telling customers what they should be doing rather than what they want to do.
Market before product: for us at MVS, the ultimate master is the market. Our decision on what to work on reflects on what genuine market needs are perceived through data and observation.
We hold no view as sacred. Every idea, every assumption, and every opinion has to prove itself through simple tests. The ones that stand up are doubled down on, and the ones that don’t are discarded.
Bias for action is inherent in how we play. We always ask, “what is the one thing that can be done NOW from where we are to move this forward towards our desired destination?”
We delay raising external capital for our projects as late as possible. We believe constraints imposed by working with fewer sets of financial resources often unleash our most creative tendencies. We like to throw brains at situations, not cash.
